The Spider-Man Movies And Tom Hardy’s Venom Coming To Disney+

Heads up, Marvel fans as most of the Spider-Man movies are coming to Disney+. The streaming service has announced that five of the films in the franchise will be available to subscribers beginning April 21. Not only that, but Tom Hardy’s Venom will also be coming to the service next month. So the scope of the Marvel multiverse is expanding on Disney+.

The specific titles arriving on April 21 included Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, The Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Homecoming. Notably, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse are not included. Even so, now Toby Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland’s versions of Peter Parker are all under the same roof. This collection is a solid addition to Disney+, given that most of the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe exists there. Also, since Disney purchased Fox several years back, some of the X-Men movies and Fantastic Four movies exist there as well.

Also absent is 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage. But it’s clear that Disney cut a deal with Sony to get these films on the service, indicating that the missing movies could also make their way to Disney+ in the future. Sony still controls the rights to Spider-Man, which is they the movies have been missing from the service for the last few years. Disney had to cut a deal with Sony to bring Spidey into the MCU, which resulted in movies like Homecoming, as well as Tom Holland’s appearances in events like Captain: America Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War.

Here are the synopses for the Spider-Man movies headed to Disney+.
