Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon – Part 2 Trailer Released By Netflix

First, it was A Child of Fire. Now? Get ready for The Scargiver. Netflix has released the first official trailer for Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon – Part Two. This is the second part of Snyder’s massive sci-fi epic, with the first part recently debuting on the streaming service. The company didn’t make viewers wait too long for a glimpse at what’s to come next year. Check it out.

The trailer doesn’t give the whole thing away but it’s not shying away from the action either. We see a great deal of Sofia Boutella’s Kora kicking ass. Other returning faces include Djimon Hounsou’s Titus, who is looking mighty angry. Before this movie arrives in April, Snyder is set to release an R-rated extended cut of the first film. Snyder has done similar things for many of his films, including Justice League and Watchmen. Netflix seems to be going all-in on this universe.

Here is the synopsis for Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver.

“Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver continues the epic saga of Kora and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave people of Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, a newfound homeland for those who have lost their own in the fight against the Motherworld. On the eve of their battle the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Realm bears down on the burgeoning rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge, and legends are made.”

The cast for the first installment also included Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam, Anthony Hopkins, Staz Nair, Fra Fee, Cleopatra Coleman, Stuart Martin, Ingvar Eggert Sigurðsson, Alfonso Herrera, Cary Elwes, Rhian Rees, E. Duffy, Jena Malone, Sky Yang, Charlotte Maggi and Corey Stoll. It’s unclear who all will be back for the sequel as Netflix hasn’t released the full cast list yet. But expect a lot of familiar faces.

“It’s been a truly unparalleled experience introducing Rebel Moon to global audiences and I’m thrilled that the movie is #1 around the world,” Snyder recently said in a statement. “We have the most dedicated and loyal fans across the world that any filmmaker could ask for, and seeing them consistently be supportive has been an enormously rewarding experience. We’re thrilled they are embracing the new world we’ve created in Part 1, and are excited for them to continue the journey next year with Part 2.”

Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver hits Netflix on April 19, 2024.
