PSA: Spider-Man: No Way Home Tickets Are Now On Sale

The time has arrived, Marvel fans. Particularly those who are interested in exploring the Spider-Verse. Tickets are now on sale for the highly anticipated Spider-Man: No Way Home. The movie is set to hit theaters next month. And, based on the early reaction from fans, it seems you would do well to grab them sooner rather than later. At least those who are hoping to see the movie in theaters on opening weekend.

Sony and Marvel Studios released pre-sale tickets for the movie as early as Sunday night in some timezones. Fans flocked to various ticketing sites to secure seats for the earliest showings, likely to avoid spoilers that will surely be making their way online. While trailers have shown us that we’re getting villains from every live-action era of Spider-Man, there are surely going to be other surprises in store.

Here’s the synopsis for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”

Aside from Tom Holland returning as Peter Parker, Benedict Cumberbatch is also reprising his role as Doctor Strange. This will usher in the era of the multiverse in the MCU. This is fitting, as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is also due to hit theaters next May. Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, and  Marisa Tomei round out the main ensemble. Alfred Molina returns as Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2, with Jamie Foxx back as Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, with Sandman, Lizard, and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin also coming back. It’s a full slate for Spidey to contend with.

While Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Eternals have performed reasonably well at the box office, this is expected to be on another level. No Way Home is currently tracking for anywhere between $135 and $185 million on its opening weekend. Should that happen, it would be by far the biggest opening weekend since the pandemic started. We could also be looking at the first $1 billion hit of the pandemic era.

The film is directed by Jon Watts, with Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers handling the script. Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal are on board as producers. Executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, JoAnn Perritano, Rachel O’Connor, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to hit theaters on December 17.
