Today brings a new trailer that is relevant to both Marvel and DC fans. First premiered by Deadline, Roku has released the first trailer for the upcoming series Slugfest. The docuseries is based on the book of the same name, covering the rivalry between the two companies. The rivalry in question spans decades. The show is set to tackle some noteworthy events from said rivalry. Have a look.
Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats) narrates the series, which was originally set up at Quibi. The short-form streaming service launched last year and flamed out in a hurry. Avengers: Endgame directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo are on board as producers. Don Argott and Sheena M. Joyce are directors in addition to serving as producers. Todd Makurath, Peter Rieveschl, Nick Gilhool and Jen Casey are also on board as producers.
