New Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Teaser Trailer Released

A new teaser trailer for Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has arrived. This is a brand new animated series coming to Paramount+ over the summer. It takes place in the same universe as last year’s hit movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. The difference? Donnie, Mikey, Leo and Raph will be making the jump to new style of 2D animation for their jump from the big screen to the small screen. Check it out.

The teaser, which was first shared by IGN, is admittedly brief. It does, however, give a sense of the tone of the new show. It looks like the series will be picking up right where Mutant Mayhem left off in many ways. That’s good, because Paramount gave the show a two-season order from the jump. The animation style, though different, also very much suits this incarnation of the franchise. The teaser even makes note of the many styles these heroes have been displayed in on TV over the years.

Here is the synopsis for Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

“From the universe of the Mutant Mayhem film, the all-new Paramount+ original series explores the adventures of everyone’s favorite pizza-loving heroes as they emerge from the sewers onto the streets of NYC. Leo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey are faced with new threats and team up with old allies to survive both teenage life and villains lurking in the shadows of the Big Apple.”

The core cast from Mutant Mayhem will be reprising their roles for the series. The cast includes Micah Abbey (Cousins for Life) as Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. (The Chi) as Michelangelo, Nicolas Cantu (The Walking Dead: World Beyond) as Leonardo, Brady Noon (Family Switch) as Raphael and Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) as April O’Neil. Paramount promises that further casting will be announced soon.

It’s a busy time for the heroes in a half shell. Aside from the new show, a sequel to Mutant Mayhem is also in the works and is set to hit theaters in 2026. We also recently learned that an R-rated movie adaptation of TMNT: The Last Ronin is happening at Paramount as well. That movie will be live-action. Beyond that, the IDW comic book series is being relaunched this summer by superstar writer Jason Aaron, with a Last Ronin video game in the works too. For fans of the franchise, there is much to look forward to.

The series hails from Nickelodeon Animation and Point Grey Pictures. It is executive produced by Chris Yost (Thor: Ragnarok) and Alan Wan (Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). Claudia Spinelli, Senior Vice President of Big Kids Animation and Nikki Price, Director of Development and Executive in Charge of Production, are overseeing the production for Nickelodeon.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles premieres this summer on Paramount+.
