PSA: Brawlhalla Has Added the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles To the Game

Attention, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans. Brawlhalla, the free-to-play fighting game, has officially kicked off its crossover event with the beloved heroes. Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Donatello have invaded the game as new Epic Crossovers.

The arrival of the Heroes in a Half-Shell kicks off a brand new in-game event. It features a new game mode called Crew Battles, a new K.O. Effect featuring Shredder and the Foot Clan. It also has new Signature attacks by the Turtles with appearances by Master Splinter and Casey Jones.

There will also be new map art depicting the green sewers of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, with Free-For-All and 1v1 versions available. Additionally, four new avatars featuring the Foot Clan symbol, Krang, the Technodrome and an animated avatar with all the Turtles’ faces will be available. These items will still be purchasable and playable after the event ends. The game mode and map will also still be playable after the event ends.

Here is the synopsis for Brawlhalla.

“Come fight for glory in Brawlhalla – an epic platform fighter for up to 8 players online or locally. Try casual free-for-alls, ranked matches, or invite friends to a private room. And it’s free! Play cross-platform with millions of players! Frequent updates. Over fifty Legends. Join the eternal battle arena, where the greatest warriors in history brawl to prove who’s the best!

Brawlhalla features both online and local competition, in addition to single-player and co-op modes. The game has nine free-to-play characters that rotate weekly. Players can also play online to earn gold and unlock more Legends.

This is far from the only TMNT video game news we’ve had as of late. Last year, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Madness was released for mobile devices. But perhaps the more exciting news came earlier this year when it was revealed that a new video game titled Shredder’s Revenge was on the way. It is cut from the same cloth as Turtles In Time and looks to be a nostalgic trip.

Meanwhile, a new Ninja Turtles movie is in the works. Seth Rogen is producing the animated feature, which is currently set to arrive in theaters summer 2023. This is in addition to the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film that is said to be in the works at Netflix.

Brawlhalla is available on console and PC.
