Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot)
Although she has appeared in four of the Fast and Furious movies, Gal Gadot is still hardly a household name – so when she was cast as the iconic superheroine Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, eyebrows were certainly raised.
The Israeli fashion model-turned-actress certainly has big boots to fill – aside from a failed pilot starring Adrianne Palicki, the last person to play Wonder Woman in live action was Lynda Carter in the classic television series.
Wonder Woman is an Amazon warrior with amazing superpowers who requires a big presence to play her – and whether or not Gadot can pull the role off remains to be seen. One thing is for sure, however – she looks extremely sexy in her outfit, as seen in the promo material and trailers for Batman v Superman.
She will also portray the character going forward in the DC Cinematic Universe – including in a solo movie in 2017 – so DC and Warner Brothers obviously trust her.
