The second season of Gotham is set to premiere on this 21st of September and I've already informed you (with photo evidence!) that they have started the filming. And since the filming has begun, you can pretty much expect hot new stuff – casting confirmations, details and leaked photos "“ popping out every now and then. That's what exactly has happened!
What I have for you now is a bunch of new stuff on Gotham Season 2 which includes a casting confirmation, details and words from an executive producer and a lead actor. Let's start with Detective Jim Gordon cast Ben McKenzie has to say!
Ben McKenzie "“ The Joker's Fans Will Be Happy!

In a recent interview with IGN, McKenzie suggests that the appearance of Cameron Monaghan's Jerome "“ the younger version of The Joker "“ in the second season of the Fox series will delight the fans of the epic DC supervillain. While the opening season of Gotham offered a few minutes long scene to introduce Jerome, Monaghan will get a far lengthier appearance in the upcoming season. Here's what McKenzie stated (via ComicBook):
"We've now read the first four scripts, and Jerome is definitely featured. I think for fans of Joker, I think you're going to be very happy."
