Comic book movies have featured a number of strong, sexy female characters over the years; Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Halle Berry as Storm, Anna Paquin as Rogue, Jessica Alba as Invisible Woman and Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman, just for a few examples. However, male characters have been far more prominent.

That looks set to change in the coming years, as movie studios are putting their confidence in female characters, with the likes of Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel set to get their own movies (although the latter has not yet been cast, so don’t expect to find her in this list).

With that in mind, we’re going to take a look at some of the confirmed female castings in upcoming comic book movies and list the sexiest of them that we can look forward to seeing.

Here are the six sexiest upcoming female characters in comic book movies (note that the list will only take into consideration new characters – or at least characters being played by new actresses – hence the word “upcoming”)…

Enchantress (Cara Delevingne)

Enchantress hasn’t exactly looked particularly hot in the limited Suicide Squad scenes that have been made public so far but, come on, she’s being played by Cara Delevingne and is called Enchantress – of course she’s going to be sexy!

The model-turned-actress – whose limited acting experience includes a minor role in 2012’s Anna Karenina – will take on the part of the magic user – who has been both a heroine and villainess in the comic books – in the 2016 DC and Warner Brothers offering and is bound to set pulses racing with her hotness.

Expect the character to use both her undeniable beauty and her amazing magic powers to manipulate men into doing her bidding. With that in mind, she will definitely be a key member of the titular team.

Going by the trailers, she may actually be the character that the titular team are sent to retrieve, which would be interesting.
