Professor X

Like many times before in the original trilogy (perhaps too many times), Professor X seems to be taken out of the equation pretty early in the movie. Which leaves a vacant spot "“ who will lead the X-Men against Apocalypse and his horsemen?
But let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet. James McAvoy returns for another X-Men movie, which won't be his last "“ though we expect his role to diminish.
In the trailers, he is depicted as being both fascinated and fearful at the power Apocalypse possesses. And he should be "“ in one of the scenes, he is bashed like a rag-doll by the uber-powerful mutant. Is that a scene taking place in reality, or is that a battle of the psyches?
We're inclined to believe that the attack by Apocalypse all happens in his mind. And it isn't just the fact that he can walk that gives it away "“ it is also Mystique's scream that acts as a hint, since she’s nowhere to be seen.
We can also assume that this scene will be followed by the destruction of the mansion. As seen in the trailers, Havok will project quite a blast while in Cerebro, most likely trying to free Professor X from Apocalypse's grasp. And this won't end too well, for the mansion and for Havok himself (Beast looks pretty upset at one point on the trailer).
And this is when all of the students are in immediate, grave danger.
