Enter Quicksilver

Quicksilver was the highlight of Days of Future Past, even if he was underused "“ once scene was all that was needed to make him a fan favorite. Apparently, as Bryan Singer teased, a scene with him in X-Men: Apocalypse will top the kitchen scene from the previous X-Men installment.

And this is the one, as seen in the trailers: when the mansion explodes, Quicksilver can be seen running as if stepping on the flames. We can assume that he’s doing this to save the students.

There is one other big reveal in this final trailer "“ Quicksilver already knows who his father is. The promotional interviews said that he is in the search of his father and we all assumed that he is searching for his father’s identity. It is pretty clear that he is actually looking for Magneto.
