Black Adam

This was the biggest surprise of them all: Black Adam will receive his own solo flick, most likely before 2019, when Shazam is supposed to be released. I have no idea where this idea came from – it makes sense from one point of view, since everybody would know who Black Adam is. However…

When one hears The Rock say that Black Adam is one of the most interesting heroes, one has to wonder what Warner Bros. is thinking.

Besides a rumored director (Brad Peyton, who worked with The Rock on San Andreas), nothing is known about this project. Based on the star’s teases, we can assume that Superman will appear in the flick.

But, really – why?
