Man of Steel 2

Man of Steel was the first DCEU movie, but there was no sequel. The projected second part of his solo franchise was transformed into Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Russell Crowe revealed that an entire Man of Steel trilogy was scrapped with the BvS announcement). Afterward, Henry Cavill said that the studio shouldn’t hurry, because Superman was too powerful and too complex – a Man of Steel sequel should arrive much further down the line, when the entire universe has been established.

But after the release of Batman v Superman, the studio said that Man of Steel 2 is a priority. Back in October of 2016, Amy Adams revealed that work on the script had begun, with Henry Cavill also assuming the role of producer.

Will we see Brainiac? Will it introduce Supergirl? Nobody knows. However, this next villain/anti-hero/hero will most likely appear in it.
