Justice League Dark

This project has been cooking since 2013, when Guillermo del Toro teased it for the first time. Back then, he said that he was writing a Dark Universe movie for Warner Bros., and that he was going to direct it, as well (obviously, like Shazam, it wasn’t supposed to be included in the DCEU). But then del Toro had to drop out – but maybe it was for the better, especially if his script remained.

Constantine, Swamp Thing, Madame Xanadu, Deadman, and Zatanna were confirmed to appear in the flick.

I said that maybe it was for the better that del Toro exited the project because Doug Liman (Edge of Tomorrow) was later attached to direct. That aside, we don’t know when Justice League Dark will be released. But yes – it’s part of the DCEU and Warner Bros. considers it a priority.

And speaking of priorities…
