Forever Evil

Forever Evil could be the storyline which pits for the first time a group of supervillains against a group of superheroes. This is a storyline so ample that it needs to be split in two Justice League movies, with the first one focusing on the defeat of the League, while the second one seeing traditional villains coming to their rescue.

Does that sound too weird? Well, it isn’t weirder than the Suicide Squad premise. Only this time it will be Lex Luthor who comes to aid the defeated League. Who will be the main antagonist? Well, take your pick – the comics saw the Crime Syndicate taking over the world. But it could be just a single villain, instead of so many, a villain who could possess, mind-control, or physically defeat the superheroes.

And this two-parter could lead to other Justice League movies, which will show that Lex Luthor still holds a grudge on Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.
