Flashpoint

This is basically the beginning of the New 52 – Flash goes back in time to save his mother and, unwillingly, changes the entire history. Aquaman and Wonder Woman are at war, Superman doesn’t exist (well, he does, but he was captured by the military since he crashed on Earth), there is no Green Lantern (literally), and so on.

And even if there will be some twitches here and there (namely with the Batman), this storyline could be adapted further down the line. Basically, everything that we took for granted in the DC universe has changes and is unrecognizable (the Batman runs casinos and isn’t too shy when it comes to killing his enemies).

We say that this could happen further down the line simply because this is one of the best ways to reboot the DCEU and bring in new heroes and new villains (though we cannot imagine it without the Trinity).

You certainly thought about this too, given the way the new Aquaman looks. And you certainly thought about Flashpoint being the perfect means of rebooting the universe (we saw this happening with Days of Future Past, for example). In any way, DC and Warner Bros need to consider this possibility.
