The Death of Superman

Batman v Superman will bring Doomsday, the one guy who killed (temporarily, of course) Superman. Most obviously, this won’t be the outcome of this year’s movie – Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman will defeat the Zod corpse and form the Justice League.

But, even if Doomsday’s origins won’t be respected in the DCEU, this doesn’t mean that he cannot come back to life. After all, the villain is known for being able to do that and for becoming immune to whatever killed him. So yeah – have the Trinity kill Doomsday, only to have him come back in Justice League Part One.

And then show the world how powerful he really is, able to defeat the entire League single-handedly.

Obviously, Part Two will deal with the return of Superman, who will find the means (with the help of Batman, of course) to neutralize the villain, without actually killing him.
