8. The Ancient One

Magic is tough to categorize, power level wise. It can be interpreted as nearly infinite power or as simple parlor tricks, depending on how you view things.

But the Ancient One has always been a figure of unimaginable power. He’s almost universally feared and respected by other magic users in the universe. The MCU’s Ancient One is a bit more courteous and friendly than the Marvel Comics version, who is harsh and embittered and cold. If you learn from him, you’ll have to endure a lot. He doesn’t mess around.

The MCU edition is a bit lighter on the stick and easier with the carrots, but not by much. She’ll still whip you into shape; she just won't try to kill you throughout the whole encounter. She still might, though. No matter which Ancient One you face, it's going to be a tough fight.

Power Level: You don't get to be Ancient without surviving a whole lot of fights. What chance do you think YOU have?
