Marvel’s Hawkeye Trailer Officially Released

We finally have a trailer for Hawkeye, and it’s potentially surprising. This is set to be the latest live-action Marvel series on Disney+. It will pick up where the likes of WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki left off. In this case, Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton will be teaming up with Hailee Steinfeld, who is playing fan-favorite Kate Bishop. The surprise? The whole thing takes place during Christmas. Have a look.

Hawkeye Trailer

As we can see, this might not be what everyone was expecting. Christmas music. An almost campy tone at times. It’s going to be a holiday adventure with Clint and Kate. Beyond there, we get quite a bit of action and a good sense of the tone. Not to mention Lucky the Pizza Dog, who is sure to steal the hearts of many fans.

We also get a confirmation of the release date. So be on the lookout for the show this November. Plus, we got a new poster for the series, which we’ve included for you to check out below.

One thing we didn’t get was a look at Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova. Spoilers for those who didn’t see Black Widow quite yet, but the post-credits scene made it perfectly clear that Natasha’s sister is going to be in the show. She is going to be on a path of revenge, as Clint was presented to her as the person responsible for Nat’s death.

Here is the brief logline for Hawkeye.

“Marvel Studios’ ‘Hawkeye’ stars Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, who teams up with another well-known archer from the Marvel comics, Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld.”

The cast also includes Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. The series is helmed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie.

These Disney+ shows are becoming a much larger part of the MCU in general. Aside from shows like WandaVision that have been released this year, we’ve got many more coming down the pipeline. Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, Ironheart and Armor Wars are all in various stages of development. Not to mention all of the Phase 4 movies we have on the way. Needless to say, Marvel fans will be very busy over the next few years.

Hawkeye debuts on Disney+ on November 24.
