Deathbird

As we’ve already touched upon in this article, female villains are conspicuous by their absence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so we’d definitely welcome more. On that note, Deathbird could very well be an extremely interesting addition to the franchise. Although she’s generally considered to be an X-Men villain (which might actually make her ineligible for a Marvel Studios movie), she has fought Carol Danvers on several occasions.
She is Cal’syee Neramani – a member of a segment of the extraterrestrial Shi’ar race that possesses talon-tipped wings – and, when she came to Earth, she worked for A.I.M. (who already exist in the MCU) and fought against Danvers in her Ms. Marvel guise.
Possessing superhuman strength and physical attributes, she’s a more than adequate opponent for Danvers – and having her go up against the heroine in her Captain Marvel solo movie would be pretty cool.
Now for an individual who is unlike any of the other solo villains on this list.
