Earlier this month, Marvel Studios screened a trailer for Avengers: Infinity War at Disney's annual D23 Expo. Although the trailer hasn’t made its way online, a footage description has. Besides making it clear that it was an epic trailer, it also indicated that Captain America and Black Widow have each undergone significant changes in appearance.
In the trailer, Chris Evans' character sported full beard, and Scarlett Johansson's character had gone from red to blond hair. We now have a photo of a new Avengers: Infinity War poster from San Diego Comic-Con International 2017 (via ComicBookMovie) that offers a first look. It's not a high-resolution image like the officially released posters, but it's clear enough that we can spot the differences.
While a rumor suggested that Cap would have a new costume in Avengers: Infinity War, the poster seems to indicate otherwise. It looks like he’s wearing his traditional suit, but the chest emblem has been damaged.
The poster also shows the teenaged Groot spotted during the post-credits scene of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and in the D23 trailer. Thor, Loki, Drax, Rocket, Star-Lord, Vision, Scarlet Witch, and Falcon are also featured. Check out the poster below!
We also have an officially released Avengers: Infinity War poster with Iron Man, Gamora, Nebula, Mantis, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, War Machine, Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Spider-Man, and Hulk. Check it out below, along with a photo of a banner that basically connects the two posters and puts Thanos right in the middle!
UPDATE: Marvel has officially released the full Avengers: Infinity War banner!
