At last month's San Diego Comic-Con International, Warner Bros. announced that they had changed The Flash’s title to Flashpoint, but it's still not clear when the movie will hit the theaters. It is clear that Dope star Kiersey Clemons - who signed on more than a year ago to play Iris West - is still involved, and she’s still set to be introduced in Justice League.
Recent rumors suggested that Joss Whedon has been supervising extensive reshoots for the November 17, 2017 release since Zack Snyder’s departure. Clemons recently told SuperHeroHype that she isn’t involved in the reshoots, but she also spoke highly of the scenes she shot with Snyder:
I finished all my stuff with Zack; I wish him well. I have no idea what's going on right now, but I'm sure whatever they're doing is necessary. I know the parts that I did introducing Iris are f*cking sick. I can't wait to see the movie.
The 23-year-old actress revealed that starring in a superhero movie wasn’t a lifelong dream, but she’s happy to be a part of Justice League:
I'm so happy that I've been introduced to this genre, because I didn't really have any type of desire to be a part of any superhero world. And then I stepped on the set of Justice League and I was like, "Holy sh*t. Alright!”
Clemons was unable to provide an update on when cameras might start rolling for Flashpoint:
I'm gonna finish up the year, and then by January, if we aren't gonna go on The Flash, I will probably get back to writing and then take a little break.
Recently, we came across a bunch of promotional artwork for Justice League. And now, thanks to Reddit user @RadioYeh, we have a cool new promotional banner that features the superhero team (excluding Henry Cavill's Superman), as well as new promo art depicting Ben Affleck's ever-moody Batman.
