Wonder Woman 1984: First Look at Gal Gadot in Costume!

Wonder Woman 1984 began filming a couple of days ago, and the first official on-set pics of Gal Gadot and Chris Pine have been released online to mark the occasion.

In addition to officially getting the cameras rolling, the photos confirmed that Steve Trevor will return in the sequel, although we still have no idea under what circumstances. We don’t even know if Pine will play the same character he played in the original film. If that does turn out to be the case, is the movie’s working title Magic Hour some sort of hint about how it will come about?

In an earlier shot of Gadot in Wonder Woman 1984, she was in character as Diana Prince and gazing at what may have been surveillance footage. The more recent shot below (via CBM) has her in costume as Wonder Woman!

After Gadot’s debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice made such a great impression, she simply skyrocketed in the first Wonder Woman film. Some objected to what they saw as the oversexualization of the character in Justice League, but we can be sure that director Patty Jenkins will bring her back on track in Wonder Woman 1984.

In addition, a Twitter user recently shared a new video from the set of Gadot and Pine out on the street during a riot scene. The actress is in the iconic Wonder Woman costume, and Pine’s character appears to be injured. Check it out below:

The video apparently proves that this Steve Trevor is more than just a memory or figment of Diana's imagination. This leaves us with a couple of alternatives: One, the character in the sequel isn’t actually Trevor; or two, death has somehow been cheated.
