It's official: Kaley Cuoco will be voicing the titular character in DC Universe's Harley Quinn.
Warner Bros. Television's recently-held panel at New York Comic Con 2018 was full of surprises. And one of these surprises concerns the upcoming adult-oriented animated series for Harley Quinn. The studio made the announcement that Kaley Cuoco, best-recognized for her portrayal of Penny in The Big Bang Theory, would be lending her voice to the fan-favorite criminal queenpin of Gotham. The 32-year-old actress is also serving as an executive producer alongside Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey.
The full voice cast for the 26-episode-long show has also been announced. According to an official press release, the roster includes Lake Bell (Childrens Hospital), Alan Tudyk (Firefly), Ron Funches (Undateable), JB Smoove (The Millers), Jason Alexander (Seinfeld), Wanda Sykes (Old Christine), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Natalie Morales (The Grinder), Jim Rash (Community), Diedrich Bader (Arrested Development), Tony Hale (Veep), Chris Meloni (Man of Steel).
Warner Bros. Television also screened a promotional video for the Harley Quinn series at NYCC 2018. The short clip, running for less than a minute, was created specifically for the event. It finds Harley in her Arkham Asylum cell along with Poison Ivy as she promises to fans that they are gonna piss themselves watching her upcoming DC Universe show.
She also suggests that the show will have comedy, action, incredibly gratuitous violence before taking a shot Marvel's failed animated series for Deadpool. And the clip also includes a cameo from none other than Batman. Check it out below!
