The first full trailer for Daredevil Season 3 has made its way online, and it introduces the supervillain we had been waiting to see since the inaugural season - Bullseye.
Last month, Netflix released three teaser trailers for Daredevil Season 3, each running for more or less a minute. The first one, which was attached to Iron Fist Season 2 as a post-credits scene, and the second one, which unveiled the premiere date, revolved entirely around Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock. The third teaser trailer, however, also included Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, juxtaposing the all-black-clad superhero with the supervillain garbed in a classic white suit.
But the latest trailer – which runs for around two and half minutes – doesn't just focus on these two characters. There's a new supervillain in town who is terrorizing the Hell's Kitchen residents in the Daredevil suit, and thus, ruining the good name of The Man Without Fear. Apparently, the Kingpin is the one who has hired him.
The trailer shies away from disclosing the true identity of the imposter. But we can clearly recognize that it's Hart of Dixie star Wilson Bethel behind the mask. It's been heavily rumored that the 34-year-old actor is playing Bullseye in Daredevil Season 3. And now, an official cast list that arrived along with the trailer confirms the rumor by identifying Bethel's character as Benjamin Poindexter - one of the several aliases of Bullseye. Here's the trailer for you!
Missing for months, Matt Murdock reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock. But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world, or embracing his destiny as a hero.
