Marvel's Daredevil created history with its inaugural season and it seems like the second season is going to do the same! We already know that the Netflix series has confirmed The Walking Dead star Jon Bernthal as the popular Marvel antihero – The Punisher. And we also know that this actor is damn serious about his role - we caught him purchasing The Punisher comics for research from a comics store.
If you have started speculating how Jon Bernthal's version of the Marvel anti-hero looks, the good news is that we have something for you! The actor has recently joined the set of Daredevil Season 2 and we have a number of stills featuring him.
Jon doesn't have the tradition look of The Punisher here - the skull on chest and the body armor are missing. From top to bottom, the actor is dressed in all black - no other color! It seems like he isn't in vigilante mode in the photos - so the traditional look might still be there. And don't forget that Charlie Cox's character got to wear the iconic Daredevil red costume no sooner than the finale episode of Season 1.

Elektra Cast Confirmed!
Few days back, a couple of leaked audition videos ( which were removed within hours) confirmed to us that the second season of Marvel's Daredevil will introduce Elektra. Now we have an official confirmation! The French actress Elodie Yung has been officially announced by Marvel as the cast for the role of Elektra.
The 34-year-old actress is best known for her roles in G.I. Joe: Retaliation and District 13: Ultimatum. According to Jeph Loeb, the EP of the Netflix series and Head of Marvel Television:
"After a worldwide search, we found in Elodie the perfect actress to embody both Elektra's impressive and deadly physicality, as well as her psychological complexity. Paired with Charlie as Matt Murdock, the two will bring one of the most beloved and tumultuous comic book relationships to life with all the accompanying sparks and spectacular action sequences the show is known for."
Marvel describes the character for the series as "˜a mysterious woman from Matt Murdock's past whose dangerous and exotic ways may be more than he can handle'.
