After a long wait, it’s now official - Netflix's Daredevil will finally be released on Blu-ray! There are a couple of twists to this news, nonetheless. And the first one is that only the first season has been announced thus far. The second twist is that Daredevil's first season has received a Blu-ray release date for the (still) UK only. And this means that it cannot be played outside of this region.
However, this doesn't mean at all that the audiences from other regions won't be able to enjoy it. Therefore, it can be expected that further release dates – for other regions, including the US – will be announced.
The UK release of the Daredevil Blu-ray is slated for the October 3 of this year. There are, for now, two types of covers possible, including the steelbox special featuring art from Joe Quesada. The pre-order prices range from £19.99 to £29.99.

The first season of Daredevil debuted on Netflix on the 10th of April 2015. So should we expect the second season to be released more than a year from now? It’s hard to tell. Both seasons are now streaming on Netflix, so, from this point of view, it makes no sense at all to hurry the release. Nonetheless, we guess that you'd want to get your hands on both seasons as soon as possible.
This being said, can we expect a Jessica Jones Blu-ray anytime soon? The first season of Jessica Jones was released on the 20th of November. So we can safely assume that we still have a long wait ahead. But maybe an announcement will be made soon about this series, as well.
