Last June, we came across a rumor that Jason Statham would be playing Bullseye in Daredevil Season 2. Later, the actor rejected the rumor, and, as the season passed, the character made no appearance. However, Charlie Cox doesn't think that Daredevil can avoid Bullseye for long if the series continues. Here's what the actor said in a recent interview with Screen Rant:
If we are fortunate enough to continue making the Daredevil series, I can't imagine doing a run of Daredevil where Bullseye doesn't show up at some point.
Cox thinks it would be "great" to have the popular Marvel supervillain around at some point in the series. But he won't suggest any specific actor's name for the role. He explains:
Who would play that part, I have no idea, but I just think there's such an interesting, rich character there, and also of course, the history that Bullseye has with Karen Page is an interesting dynamic. When you read the comics it's etched in a Daredevil memory all that stuff.

Daredevil star wants The Punisher to get his own series!
Even though Charlie Cox doesn't know what Marvel-Netflix is planning, he would love it if The Punisher were to "get his own 13 episodes". He states:
Having worked with Jon (Bernthal), I would love to see Punisher get his own show. I'd love to see that happen. It's such a rich character, and Jon embodies him in such a spectacular way.
The British actor went on to add that he would love his Matt Murdock to "make an appearance" in Frank Castle's standalone series.
Charlie Cox hopes for the Kingpin to return in Daredevil!
Daredevil Season 2 has introduced two new characters - The Punisher and Elektra. If Marvel-Netflix goes on making more seasons, the 33-year-old actor wouldn't want a new character every season. Rather, he would love them to "explore more of the Wilson Fisk stuff". He would love having Vincent D'Onofrio reprise his role from the first season, saying:
There's so much Daredevil/Wilson Fisk left untold. As he really came into his own, as Wilson Fisk turned into the Kingpin at the end of season one, I'd love to see what that now does to the Daredevil/Fisk dynamic going forward if we were to do a season 3 or 4 or whatever.
Would you want to see Bullseye introduced or the Kingpin return in future Daredevil seasons? What about The Punisher standalone series? Do let us know via comments!
