Falcon And The Winter Soldier And Moon Knight Coming To Blu-Ray And 4K

Good news, physical media lovers and Marvel fans. Disney has announced that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Moon Knight are finally coming to Blu-ray. While the shows premiered in 2021 and 2022, respectively, they are finally going to get physical releases that fans can put on their shelves. Up until this point, they have only been available to stream on Disney+.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier: The Complete First Season and Moon Knight: The Complete First Season will hit shelves on Tuesday, April 30. Each show will be available either in a limited edition steelbook either on Blu-ray or 4K Ultra HD. Pre-orders for both begin on March 12. Disney also announced that Star Wars show Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor will be getting similar releases on the same day. The releases will also come packed with special features.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier bonus features

  • Cap’s Shield: Sometimes a shield isn’t just a shield. Anthony Mackie and the creative team behind The Falcon and the Winter Soldier discuss what Captain America’s iconic accessory ultimately represents — along with the numerous challenges of capturing the cumbersome prop in action once cameras started rolling.
Deleted scenes:
  • Flight Lesson – Sam and Rhodey have a heart to heart and bond over flying.
  • Still Not Funny – Bucky brings a treat to Sam’s family gathering.
  • Assembled: The Making of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier – Embark on the making of this high-flying, globe-trotting action series with the cast and crew in Assembled: The Making of Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Gag Reel: Watch the hilarious outtakes with cast and crew.

Moon Knight bonus features

  • Egyptology – Join Egyptologist Ramy Romany, Oscar Isaac and more, as they further explore the ancient Egyptian mythology that helped inspire the Moon Knight series.
Deleted Scenes:
  • Don’t Go There – While walking in the streets of Egypt, Layla questions Marc’s state of mind and motivations.
  • Breaking the Cycle – Arthur delivers a prompting speech to his crew, urging them to take action alongside him.

Gag Reel: Watch some hilarious outtakes on set with the cast and crew.

It’s important to point out that both of these releases are billed as “the complete first season.” That at least leaves the door cracked open for a potential Moon Knight season 2 or Falcon and Winter Soldier season 2. That said, it still seems unlikely that either will happen. These shows now join WandaVision and Loki as far as MCU shows that premiered on Disney+ and eventually got Blu-ray releases. Both of those shows arrived on disc earlier this year as well.

Here is the synopsis for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

“Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, AKA The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, AKA The Winter Soldier. The pair, who came together in the final moments of Avengers: Endgame, team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities—and patience.”

And here is the synopsis for Moon Knight.

“When Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac), a mild-mannered gift shop employee, becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life, he discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.”

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Moon Knight steelbooks arrive on April 30.
