The Flash has already winded up its first season last night with quite an impressive season finale. But we definitely know that the Fastest Man Alive will return with a brand new season this fall. What can we expect from the second season?
Titular role cast Grant Gustin hints that The Flash isn't going to be all the same in the upcoming season "“ at least he expects so! While sharing his thoughts to ComicBook, the actor states:
"I want to be able to, next year, get a little more cocky with it and confident with the super powers. I want to be a little bit closer to the Flash from the comics."
And it seems like the lead actor isn't just guessing "“ he has talked to the head honchos about the growth of The Flash. Here's what he shares:
"I had actually gotten to a place where I talked to [EPs] Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti about it, because I felt like Barry had gotten to this really dark place, and he maybe wasn't having fun anymore. They promised me that Barry was still having fun, and he'd still get those moments."
