Tom Cavanagh

The Flash has recently rung the curtain down on its exhilarating opening season and we've already started speculating about the second season that kicks off this fall. We came to know some stimulating new details about Season 2 from the titular role cast Grant Gustin yesterday and now one of the head honchos of the series Andrew Kreisberg shares to Entertainment Weekly a bunch more of that!

After watching the season finale, you might have thought that we've seen the last of Tom Cavanagh in The Flash. But the executive producer confirms that he will definitely return in the next season, and that as a regular cast! According to Kreisberg:

"Tom Cavanagh will continue to be a regular on Flash is all I am prepared to say."

He doesn't share any further details about how the actor will be presented in the follow-up season, but doesn't deny the chances of the Reverse Flash to return! Here's what he says when asked if we've seen the last of the Man in the Yellow Suit:

"On Flash, you've never seen the last of anybody, no matter what happens to them."

Eddie Thawne May Return!

Rick Cosnett

Rick Cosnett won’t be regular, but there is a BUT!

While we saw Rick Cosnett's Eddie Thawne face death in The Flash season finale, his journey in the series may not be over yet! The EP confirms that he won't be a regular cast in the upcoming season, but…(Continued to Page 2)

(Continued from Page 1)… doesn't close the doors for a sudden revisit. Here's what he states:

"While Rick won't be a regular, Flash is the kind of show between hardcore sci-fi and time travel that I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't the last we've seen of Eddie Thawne.

EP talks more about The Flash Season 2!

If a number of stuff in the first season had swerved from what you expected, Kreisberg confirms that is what will happen in The Flash season 2 as well:

"We're mapping out the season. The circumstances in which we come back will hopefully be surprising and entertaining. There are a bunch of questions that were left unresolved at the end of the season and they'll be resolved in the premiere. But how that happens won't quite be the way people expect. Hopefully the unexpected is what people have come to expect from us.
