Since it is already known that DC will follow the new 52 continuity, some questions rose concerning Lois Lane, Superman and Wonder Woman. In few words, many of the fans seemed to shiver at the possibility that we will see a love triangle among the three mentioned above.
But these fears were put to rest by Amy Adams (who portrays Lois Lane in the film), who said that in this one at least (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) she will not compete with Wonder Woman (portrayed by Gal Gadot) for the affection of Superman.
What's her role in the film?
Amy Adams also said that Lois Lane, in a way, is a key character for the movies, since she is the one that gathers all the information. The boys do the heavy-lifting, while she is the one to say what needs to be lift.
Amy Adams, in an interview promoting Big Eyes: "Lois is still sort of like the key to the information, you know? She's the girl going out and getting it and figuring it out and putting it together and all of that, so she's very much involved, but I kind of leave the heavy lifting to the boys, you know? So to speak."
And it is refreshing to see that Lois Lane’s mythos has remained intact.
Her relationship with Gal Gadot
Addressing directly the love triangle between Lois Lane, Superman and Wonder Woman, Amy Adams said in the same interview that people always expect catfights when such characters are put on screen together. She also said that this is more like male fantasy than reality.
Furthermore, the actress said that it was very nice sharing screen time with Gal Gadot, since she was among the few women on the set, even if it wasn't for too much.
Which makes some of us wonder as to how much will Wonder Woman be on screen - the rumors were that she will just have a cameo, in the ending of the film, during or at the end of the film's main fight.
But if Wonder Woman will spend time with Lois Lane, does this mean that the Amazonian's role will be much bigger?
