Doomsday, Lex and Anti-Superman Weapons

Superman after Doomsday

Badass Digest is yet another site that comes and says that Doomsday is the villain fought in the final battle - but we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves, since this scoop also concerns Batman, Superman and some others.

Of course, and as others have pointed out, Warner Bros and Zack Snyder said nothing about such a character being in the film. But given all the secrecy surrounding all the major blockbusters, this shouldn’t be so surprising – so take this with the usual pinch of salt.

Of course, if these will be true, then consider yourself warned – there are spoilers ahead and they are pretty big!

Batman

The movie, until the boss fight with Doomsday, will begin with a flashback of Batman - this is when the fans will get to know the new Dark Knight. As the scoop goes, Batman was present when Superman fought Man of Steel.

But the movie will take place several years after the incident, when Clark Kent is working at the Daily Planet and living with Lois Lane.

Superman

The movie is actually centered on Superman who, on the course of these years, has become a hero. However, incidents have happened, one of them concerning Lois Lane. As in the comics, the Man of Steel always arrives to her rescue - but this is the real world and an international incident is caused when he flies to her rescue in the Middle East.

This seems very interesting (without even mentioning Doomsday), since it shows what would happen if such a superhero lived in our world - and this interesting aspect is the politics of them all. In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Superman is prohibited from flying over China.

Lex and anti-Superman weapons

But the Man of Steel isn't a hero for everybody - Lex obviously believes the contrary. But he isn't the only one, since Batman is also preparing for a confrontation with Superman and builds himself some anti-Superman weapons.

The scoop also mentions a confrontation between Sups and an unknown character, a confrontation during which the words, I'll break your back are muttered. Obviously, everybody knows who this unknown character is"¦

Doomsday

And we arrive at Doomsday, who is one of the most important villains in the Superman rogue galley, a villain that killed the unkillable Kryptonian. The main fight will be his - however, we are not entirely certain that he will be the comic book character everybody knows.

And that is because there is no time to set his backstory - so the rumor is that Doomsday will also be an anti-Superman creation. Of course, the name of Lex Luthor is the one that comes to mind. However, it shouldn't necessarily be so.

Dawn of Justice

A couple of months ago, the rumor was that the first villain the newly formed Justice League will face will be Brainiac. And while it remained unconfirmed, the strongest chances are that this will indeed be the foe that will unite all the heroes.

So besides Lex, Brainiac could also be one puppeteer that controls Doomsday. A little thin you may think? Well, it could be so, it could be actually anorexic. But it is a possibility.

Furthermore, towards the end of the battle or even after it, two major characters will be introduced - one of them is Aquaman and the other is"¦

Well, it isn’t Wonder Woman. Anyways, even if Doomsday’s comic book origins aren’t kept, he will still be the one to unite the Justice League for facing a bigger threat than him.
