Amazon’s Invincible Season 1 Is Now Streaming In Its Entirety

Superhero fans have something to binge this weekend. Invincible season 1 is now streaming in its entirety on Amazon Prime Video. The violent animated series based on Robert Kirkman’s comic of the same name has been airing for several weeks. Now, those who prefer to watch it from start to finish without waiting week-to-week can do so.

Critics have responded kindly to the show so far. The fan response has clearly been great as well, as Amazon recently renewed Invincible for two more seasons. With that, now might be the perfect time to get all caught up before the show returns.

Here’s the synopsis for Invincible

“From The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, and based on the Skybound/Image comic of the same name by Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible is an hour-long, adult animated superhero show that revolves around seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age — except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.”

The cast includes Sandra Oh (Killing Eve), Seth Rogen (This is the End), Gillian Jacobs (Love), Andrew Rannells (Black Monday, Girls), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Mark Hamill (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Walton Goggins (Justified), Jason Mantzoukas (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Zachary Quinto (Star Trek), Mahershala Ali (Moonlight), Melise (The Flash), Kevin Michael Richardson (The Simpsons), Grey Griffin (Avengers Assemble), Khary Payton (The Walking Dead) and more.

“I’m extremely thankful to Amazon for the support and dedication they’ve put behind Invincible,” said Kirkman when the renewal announcement was made. “The comic book is truly a love letter to a genre that Cory (Walker) and I grew up reading and loving, and it’s been a gratifying journey to watch our characters come to life again through the animated series. We’re beyond excited to continue this story for at least two more seasons.”

Invincible is produced by Skybound and executive produced by Kirkman, Simon Racioppa, David Alpert (The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead) and Catherine Winder (The Angry Birds Movie, Star Wars: The Clone Wars). Linda Lamontagne serves as casting director. It was Kirkman’s second-longest comic-book series, right behind The Walking Dead. Its run wrapped up back in February 2018 after 15 years.

Invincible season 1 is streaming now on Amazon Prime Video.
