No. 3 – A Quote From Batman Begins
In the opening installment of Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy, we found Linus Roache’s Thomas Wayne uttering these words to the young Bruce Wayne played by Gus Lewis. Later, Michael Caine’s Alfred Pennyworth repeated the words to Christian Bale’s adult Bruce in the 2005 flick.
This quote is quite similar to the one you read in the last page – the one from X-Men: Days of Future Past. The only difference is that while that one motivates you to help someone who’s lost, this one motivates you to help yourself when you are down. It motivates you to not get depressed when you’ve fallen, rather to realize that this fall is a part of life and it is meant to teach you to stand back on your feet.
