No. 7 – A Quote From Spider-Man
This quote from Sam Raimi’s 2003 flick Spider-Man grabs the seventh spot in our list. These words were uttered by Cliff Robertson’s Ben Parker, aka Uncle Ben, to Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker in the movie after he attained superpowers following the SPIDER-BITE event! In the ending part of the movie, the words are repeated in Peter Parker’s voiceover:
“Whatever life holds in store for me, I will never forget these words: ‘With great power comes great responsibility.’ This is my gift, my curse. Who am I? I’m Spider-man.â€
Well, you don’t attain incredible superpowers like superheroes do in the movie but you do attain certain real life powers, and obviously not in such incredible ways as the superheroes do. Whatever be the nature of your power, there is always a responsibility accompanied with it. The greater the power, the greater is the responsibility on your shoulders.
