Kinka Usher’s Mystery Men was a disaster at the box-office – grossing around $33.4 million worldwide against a budget of $68 million. Frankly, there aren’t many good things that can be said about the 1999 flick except this quote. Ben Stiller’s Roy, aka Mr. Furious, uttered the words in the movie.
‘Don’t give up’ or ‘don’t quit’ – there are over hundreds of ways in which this same message has been conveyed and the above quote is one of them. In almost every other superhero movies, you see superheroes managing to defeat the villainous force ultimately despite thinking of giving up at times – so the message is not something uncommon in this genre. But it’s a pretty cool way of saying ‘I don’t quit’ and you would love saying that once you don’t quit, won’t you?
