Deadshot

Besides Harley, Deadshot is the most famous of all the current Suicide Squad members – so we may believe that killing him doesn’t make any sense. After all, he is the unspoken leader of the team and he is skilled enough to avoid being killed.

But if we look closer we can see that he is the one whose death will actually mean something on the long run. Sure enough, he is a villain – however, he is a rather tragic character who actually has a reason to fight on.

We already know this, from the trailer – remember the leaked set pics where he looked like a pimp? The trailer revealed that he does have a daughter in this universe. And he intends to do everything that it takes in order to keep her safe.

We don’t know yet who is he going up against – but we can bet that he will sacrifice himself in the end. He is, most likely, the one character with whom everybody can empathize. So his death would underline a somewhat perfect redemption story.

Will Smith portrays Deadshot in Suicide Squad – and he did die in his movies, heroically (though, at times, unnecessarily) in order to save someone else. This character is meant for him. And this character will die.

To be noted, there is also a rumor saying that he will be involved, to a certain degree, in a romantic relationship with Harley. Imagine what the Joker will do to him…
