Cannon fodder

Straight off the bat, we are going to say that 4 characters will certainly not make it past the first Suicide Squad installment (oh, we are certain there will be sequels): Slipknot, Killer Croc, El Diablo and Katana. In this movie, we believe that they serve as secondary characters, meant to establish something "“ as said, that the greater baddie is truly evil (we don't know who that is yet).

Killer Croc and Katana are the most recognizable from the bunch, though it cannot be said that they are actually first tier "“ so they might make it alive, just because most of the moviegoers might know who they are.

But then again this is an Ayer flick "“ and when even the main characters aren't safe, why would secondary ones be?

Killing these four will once again reaffirm that the DCEU is not a place where anybody can mess around without suffering the consequences. So, besides establishing a bigger threat, these deaths are actually necessary for another reason as well.

What are the chances for any of these four to make it out alive? There aren't really any "“ as said, Katana and Killer Croc might be the most recognizable of the lot. But that doesn't mean anything at all.

Basically, Slipknot, El Diablo, Killer Croc and Katana are just cannon fodder.
