Lady Shiva

While Katana would be interesting to see as the only trained martial artist of a Harley Quinn spin-off, there is one other character who could join her. And this character is Lady Shiva, who is known as one of the most skilled hand-to-hand combatants in the DC comic book universe. And it would be interesting, since Lady Shiva likes using just her bare hands in combat, as opposed to Katana. Imagine a fight between them, as it often happens in ensemble superhero flicks. It would be amazing.

I include Lady Shiva on this list not just because of her skills, but also because of the potential she brings in. She also has a connection with Bruce Wayne, having trained Tim Drake (one of the Robins). But, more importantly, she is the mother of Cassandra Cain, an even better martial artist than her mother and a Batgirl.

And there is something even more interesting – Shiva’s affiliation with the League of Assassins. I’d like to see the League at work again. Probably because what we saw in the Dark Knight movies wasn’t exactly the comic book version of the supervillains…
