If you thought that this year, who saw the release of the second highest grossing comic book movie of all times, was a great year, then wait until you get a load of 2016, with no less than 7 epic movies set to be released.

Of course, if Sony goes with its plans, we might get even an 8^th comic book movie in 2016 "“ but since they supposedly scratched their plans for the Spider-Man shared universe, we don't really think that this will happen.

By all means, 2016 seems to start with a high note, since the first comic book movie of the year will be Deadpool. The dark horse of the year, nobody would have believed how many followers this particular movie will gather soon after the first pics from the set will be leaked.

And by all means, the one to blame is certainly Ryan Reynolds "“ hopefully, Deadpool will do more than well at the box office and will pave the way for other R-rated releases.
