A Ghost Rider Reboot

Ghost Rider is another character who, like Blade, has already been given more than one big screen opportunity. Ghost Rider and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, both starring Nicolas Cage in the title role, were released in 2007 and 2011 respectively. Unlike the Blade movies before them, they were terrible.

That’s a damn shame, because Ghost Rider is an awesome character with a lot of great live action potential – and if anyone can get it right in movie form, it’s Marvel Studios.

Rumors of a Ghost Rider reboot in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have done the rounds and fans would love it to happen. With Doctor Strange having already opened the gates of the MCU towards supernatural realms, more supernatural characters will follow and we’d love Ghost Rider to be one of them.

Just like Blade, maybe Ghost Rider would be more suited for a Netflix show (especially since he has already appeared in Agents of Shield). However….

And here comes a rumor about a potential super-team acquisition by Marvel Studios.
