Tom Hiddleston Teases Doctor Strange's Role in Thor: Ragnarok!

We already know that Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange will show up in this year’s Thor: Ragnarok, but Tom Hiddleston may have just revealed how the character might prove to be helpful to the Norse God of Thunder!

While speaking to MTV News’ Josh Horowitz on the red carpet at the Golden Globes, Hiddleston, who portrays Thor’s notorious adoptive brother Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, re-confirmed that Cumberbatch’s character will indeed appear in the Taika Waititi flick. When pressed to divulge a secret about the movie, the British actor dropped some hints about a meeting between Loki and the Sorcerer Supreme:

Doctor Strange has kind of very intensely cerebral time-bending powers…At the end of Thor: The Dark World, Loki's on the throne - what happened to Odin? So, maybe Doctor Strange has to help out with that particular conundrum.

To be honest, it wasn’t a very surprising revelation, considering the fact that this could be foreseen after watching the standalone Doctor Strange movie last November. In one of the post-credits scenes, we saw the titular superhero having a little chat with Chris Hemsworth’s character, who had come to Earth in search of his father, Odin.

Doctor Strange did tease his return in Thor: Ragnarok by saying, “Allow me to help you.” But while we assumed that he would have a cameo in the November 3, 2017 release, a recent report suggested that he would have a rather extended role. Some are speculating that he might even enter the gladiatorial arena in Sakaar to help Thor and Hulk escape the planet.

During the interview, Tom Hiddleston also offered some tidbits on his role in Kong: Skull Island. You can check out the clip below!
