Robbie Talks On Almost Starring In Fant4stic!
If you don’t know it yet, Margot Robbie was very close to playing Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman, in the recent 20th Century Fox release Fant4stic or Fantastic Four. She was offered the role which was played by Rebecca Staab and Jessica Alba previously for the Josh Trank reboot, but she passed on and it ultimately went to Kate Mara.
For the first time, the actress has spoken about rejecting the Fant4astic role – she reveals that it was actually the script that didn’t work for her, for which she didn’t take up the role of the female Marvel superhero. She stated:
“I didn’t really resonate with the script, and I haven’t seen the movie, so I don’t really know how it turned out different from the page.â€
Well, she didn’t watch the movie, but who actually did? Hardly anyone doesn’t know that the movie is the biggest disappointment in the superhero movie genre as it has neither escaped from being a box-office disaster, nor has it earned anything from the critics other than negative responses.
However, Margot Robbie appreciates the memories of talking to Josh Trank about the role of Invisible Woman and she seems to held luck responsible for the tragedy with the flick! According to the actress:
“But I had a great meeting with the director and I really enjoyed that. I guess its part of the game: Sometime you win some, sometimes you lose some.â€
