Cloak & Dagger
Cloak and Dagger played an important part in the Infinity Gauntlet comic book arc, as when Thanos snapped his fingers to erase half of the life in the universe, Dagger was one of the many superheroes to disappear, leaving Cloak alone.
This prompted the male half of the duo to join the task force of remaining heroes in the fight against the Mad Titan – and seeing that dynamic on the big screen would be very cool.
Sadly, it won’t happen. Marvel Studios has the rights to the characters – and there has been talk of a Marvel Cinematic Universe television show based on the duo – but they just aren’t big enough for a movie appearance. And that’s a real shame.
We’ll now move on to the next entry, who already exists in the MCU.
