Doctor Doom
In the Infinity Gauntlet comic book arc, Doctor Doom joined the superheroes of the Marvel universe in the fight against Thanos – and he headed into space to join them in battle.
However, Doom being Doom, he actually attempted (unsuccessfully) to take an opportunity to acquire the Infinity Gauntlet for himself, when a shot from Thor’s hammer Mjolnir momentarily left the Mad Titan prone – and that would be a cool moment to see in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Sadly, Doom is another character whose movie rights lie with Fox, but that could open the door for his role in the Infinity Gauntlet comic book arc to be taken by Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. He’s just the kind of character to initially appear to side with the Avengers, only to attempt to betray them with an ulterior motive.
Let’s move on to a pair of characters who come as one entry, due to their team-up nature.
