If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the second official trailer for Logan, we have good news! You’ll see it this week!
Via their official Facebook page, 20th Century Fox Taiwan has announced that a new trailer for the third and final standalone Wolverine movie will surface online this Thursday, January 19. However, the information hasn't been confirmed on any of the studio’s other social media accounts. Lead actor Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold have yet to comment on the matter.
But the embargo on the 40-minute-preview of Logan shown at the Fox press event in December will be lifted on the very same date. So this definitely appears to be a safe bet.
According to Trailer Track, we can expect the trailer to be launched at 6:00 am PT/9:00 am ET/2:00 pm UK time, the usual drop time for Fox. And they also suggest that this second trailer will be the final one for Logan.
Since the R-rated movie is just a month and a half away from rolling into theaters, and less than a month away from its world premiere at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival, it would perhaps be wise to not expect a third trailer. Maybe more footage will be included in TV spots.
To date, there has been just one trailer for Logan, released back in October. A clip was shown at Brazil's Comic Con Experience 2016 in December, but it wasn’t released online. However, we have seen a number of stills from the movie over the last few months"¦Mangold shared three stills the other day via his official Twitter account featuring Jackman's titular character, Sir Patrick Stewart's Professor X, and Dafne Keen's Laura, aka X-23.
