As the release date for Logan closes in, we’re also getting closer to seeing the second trailer. And we have to say that, based on the first trailer alone, this is one of the most anticipated comic book movies of the year. Let's be honest, after the first two Wolverine movies, and after hearing that Wolverine 3 would adapt the Old Man Logan storyline (without the bulk of the characters owned by Disney), did any of you have any desire to see it?
Logan’s world premiere will take place at next month’s Berlin International Film Festival. We’ll will know then if these high expectations will be met. Given the fact that the first 40 minutes of the film were unanimously praised at a recent screening, we won't be surprised if Logan becomes the most successful R-rated movie of all time (beating 2015's Deadpool).
So it’s understandable that we’re eager to report on every detail about this movie. A first official synopsis was released a couple of days ago, followed by an excerpt from the film’s score (you can check them out at the end of this article), but James Mangold said on Twitter that he basically has no information on the new trailer’s release:
To all asking directors (like me) to drop a trailer, please know, it’s not like we sit on them waiting for best worded tweet to move us.

Nonetheless, he quickly followed that with three new pics of the movie’s main characters, Wolverine, X-23, and Professor X (Patrick Stewart really looks the part). Check them out below:
Will Logan be this year’s best comic book movie? We don't know - but things are indeed looking great for it!
Logan synopsis: In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
