The first Avengers: Infinity War trailer may be on its way, but a new Black Panther trailer is even closer!
The Marvel Cinematic Universe installments will both hit the theaters during the first four months of 2018. An Black Panther trailer made its way online in June, but we’re still waiting for the first Infinity War trailer. Although Marvel Studios showed footage from each movie at the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con International, they haven’t released the clips online because they didn’t want to steal Thor: Ragnarok’s thunder.
The good news is that the British Board of Film Classification just classified a new trailer for Black Panther, so we’ll get to see that soon. The two minute, eighteen second trailer will most likely be released in the UK along with the Thor:Ragnarok theatrical cut on October 24. We can expect to see it online before that.
Here's a screenshot of the classification!
Marvel co-president Louis D'Esposito recently claimed that the first Infinity War trailer was "not ready yet", so we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see that one. During a conversation with Fandango's managing editor, Erik Davis, studio president Kevin Feige clarified things by saying that the trailer will surface online "before the end of the year". Check out Davis' tweet below!
I asked Kevin Feige when the #InfinityWar trailer is going to hit, and he confirmed it will arrive "before the end of the year." ??

Fans may not be thrilled with the studio's decision to hold the trailer for the Russo Brothers flick, but it actually makes sense. An early release could have an adverse effect on T'Challa's standalone movie, which follows Thor: Ragnarok on the release schedule.
Theaters will be swarming with moviegoers, even if no footage from the third movie for the Earth's Mightiest Heroes is shown. But marketing for the other project demands a significant push, as it's not the culmination of everything we've seen in the MCU since its birth nine and a half years ago.
