When Disney announced that they would release one Star Wars-related movie each year for the foreseeable future, many people predicted it would take just a couple of years for fans to lose interest in the franchise. If we’re talking worldwide numbers, The Force Awakens took in $2.066 billion and Rogue One earned "just" $1.056 billion. So we could say that the predictions that the fans would lose interest were accurate. Obviously, we’re kidding; these are great numbers, especially since Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is a prequel.
Another Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi, is scheduled for release this year. What does that title mean? Is Jedi plural or singular? We have no idea; no one who is not involved with the movie has any idea. We do know that it’s one of this year’s most anticipated movies, and that it will help move the Skywalker saga forward.
The first teaser trailer was released today! And despite being just a series of disconnected scenes, it has us even more hyped. But enough talk! Check it out:
